HEARTWAY
Baby yoga
A hug at a Heartway gathering.
Baby yoga is also part of what I offer. Before a first session, I want you to know who it is for, how the accompanying caregiver takes part and what you need to bring. We start by making those practical details clear.
How we can begin
First, age and format
Ask me which age range and format are available for your baby. We confirm the age range and availability together. Baby yoga can describe different sessions; I would rather explain the exact meeting we can arrange.
For questions about ages, caregivers and equipment, see how to prepare for your first session with your baby.
Include the accompanying adult
Tell me who would like to accompany your baby and ask how that person participates. If you are looking for a postnatal class for yourself, mention that aim: baby yoga and postnatal recovery are different offerings. No session here is presented as clinical rehabilitation.
Book with the details clear
We confirm location, duration, number of caregivers, equipment, price and terms before booking. Tell me whether you prefer Portuguese or English. For a health question about your baby taking part, seek advice from their healthcare professional.
General health information, not a substitute for individual advice: NHS: Keeping fit and healthy with a baby.
What this practice can offer you
Time together
Time to be with your baby and give the moment your attention, without a list of tasks to finish.
At your baby’s pace
We discuss age and caregiver participation beforehand so you know what to expect.
Room for questions
Guidance during the session, without promises about sleep, colic or development. Your baby’s healthcare team remains the place for health questions.
Questions before booking
What age is it for?
Ask me about the age range of the available session. Suitable ages and the format are confirmed before booking, not inferred from the class name.
Can I participate with my baby?
Confirm how the caregiver participates and how many adults can attend. You do not need to buy a general class pass to make this enquiry.
Is this a postnatal recovery class?
Do not assume so. If you want practice for yourself after birth, explain that aim and follow your healthcare professional’s advice.
Where is it and what does it cost?
Location and price are agreed for the available session. Ericeira studio prices shown elsewhere are not baby-yoga prices.
What should I bring?
Ask me for the equipment list and access details before leaving home. We also confirm what the venue provides.
